Voor de foto van vandaag moet ik een uitzondering maken op het oorspronkelijke doel van de blog, met name Vlaamse bussen en trams visueel weergeven.
Vandaag heb ik een dagje in Arras (Pas-de-Calais, Frankrijk) vertoefd. Arras is een (vrij historisch) stadje met een stadsnet van een tiental stadslijnen, 12 voorstadslijnen en 9 'Transport à demande'-lijnen (vergelijkbaar met een belbus), allen verzorgd door de STCUA (filiaal Keolis) onder de naam "Artis". Naar Franse gewoonte rijden deze lijnen niet echt regelmatig en ook niet volgens een vaste frequentie, maar het materiaal waarmee de lijnen worden afgereden mag er zeker wezen. Het gelede materiaal bestond uit Mercedes O.405G en varianten, alsook Heuliez GX 137. De standaardbussen waren blijkbaar uitsluitend Heuliez bussen, vooral GX 217, maar ook enkele GX 327 van het type "Access'Bus". Wat midibussen betreft, ging het om Heuliez GX 117.
Op de onderstaande foto zien we zo'n vrij recente Heuliez GX 327 ter hoogte van de Place du Marechal Foch, ook wel gekend als het stationsplein.
